Frequently asked questions
When you select a preset, the tool automatically calculates the centered crop area for your image. The result always preserves the central part of the photo, which is usually the main subject.
Yes. The 'Instagram Post' preset crops your image to 1080×1080px (1:1 ratio), the standard format for Instagram feed posts.
YouTube recommends 1280×720px in 16:9 ratio. Our 'YouTube Thumbnail' preset crops exactly to those dimensions.
The crop is automatic and centered. If the main subject is centered in your photo, the result will be perfect. For more precise crops where the subject is not centered, we recommend adjusting the photo manually before uploading.
